Magic High Academy – Stone Scorpion

Stone Scorpion

';

A comprehensive linear cutscene sound design showcase featuring a large-scale environmental event, focusing on heavy stone mechanisms, massive destruction physics, and seismic ground shifts. This project highlights the studio’s capability to deliver high-impact mechanical asset creation, deep low-end weight, and frame-accurate linear synchronization for cinematic narrative beats.

Key Scope of Work Demonstrated:

Heavy Mechanical & Lock Rotations: Engineering of complex lock mechanisms, combining metallic friction, heavy gear teeth, and stone-on-stone pressure layers to establish mechanical tension.
Massive Stone Movement & Friction: Sound design for large-scale architectural movement, layering deep friction textures, crumbling debris, and grinding stone physics.
Seismic Earthquake & Sub-Bass Physics: Production of powerful ground-shaking low-frequency rumbles, shockwaves, and sub-bass impacts to convey the immense scale of the rising monument.
Frame-Accurate Synchronization & Dynamic Range: Precision audio alignment and frequency management, balancing dense mechanical transients and heavy low-end tails to maximize dramatic impact and spatial clarity.
