A comprehensive technical sound design showcase featuring the full character Foley and footstep pipeline for the AA title Lost Future, focusing on system architecture, external studio production, and engine integration. This project highlights the studio’s capability to deliver detailed Foley documentation, multi-surface movement physics, and advanced interactive middleware implementation via Audiokinetic Wwise and Unreal Engine.
Key Scope of Work Demonstrated:
Interactive Foley System Architecture: End-to-end design and animation analysis for character movement states, creating a scalable footstep and equipment movement framework.
External Studio Direction & Technical Documentation: Authoring of comprehensive Foley recording guidelines, managing external recording sessions, and editing raw material for unified asset quality.
Multi-Surface & Texture Layering: Processing and blending of multi-material Foley passes—including surface-aware footsteps, clothing friction, and tactical gear movement for high physical realism.
Wwise Middleware & Unreal Engine Integration: Full implementation of custom Wwise surface switches, attenuation profiles, and event triggering integrated directly into Unreal Engine animation blueprints.
